Autism Assessment
Our comprehensive Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) assessment is designed to provide clarity and understanding. The process is broken down into three phases, each with a specific purpose and associated cost. This allows you to proceed at a pace that suits you and your family.
Phase 1: Initial Screening
This initial step involves a screening meeting either in person or online with Dr Emma Rigby or Lucy White. We'll discuss your concerns and the challenges you're experiencing to determine the most appropriate next steps as well as working towards developing a safe space for you to engage in the assessment with us. We'll also send you some relevant questionnaires to complete. Following the screening, we'll provide recommendations for further assessment and support. The cost for this initial screening is £150.
Phase 2: Developmental History
In this phase, we'll gather a detailed developmental history. This is usually completed by Dr Emma Rigby and includes the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R - the developmental history) aswell as collecting information from individuals and professionals involved in your care. This process helps us build a comprehensive picture. The cost for this phase is £650.
Phase 3: Behavioral Observation & Feedback
The final phase involves a direct observation session using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2) usually completed either by Jessica Regan, Vicky Mackinlay or Lucy White. Following this, we'll hold an MDT meeting as well as a feedback session to share the assessment results. You'll receive a comprehensive report outlining our findings and personalised recommendations for ongoing support. The cost for this phase, including the observation and feedback session, is £1200.
The total cost for the full ASC assessment, encompassing all three phases, is £2000.
